C1 Certification requires the mastery of the following points mentioned below:

• Developing new skills in vocabulary.
• Mastering main grammar rules.
• Expressing ideas (speaking) on complex and abstract topics.
• Ability to write on complex and abstract topics.
• Understanding skills (listening & reading) on complex and abstract topics.

Goals for C1 certification:

• Understanding a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognizing implicit meaning.
• Expressing him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
• Using language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
• Producing clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
• Good mastery of grammar when writing and speaking.

When can you follow the preparation for the C1 certification?

• A student should accomplish between 650 and 950 hours of classes (level C1) before starting the preparation for the C1 certification.
